Sept 2019 – Texas Edition

Back when travel was possible and celebrating life events with friends and family seemed normal, we flew to Texas to share Ellie’s second birthday with the C family. It was so much fun and we loved sharing that momentous occasion with them. Little did we know, it would be the last time we saw them for quite a while. As of right now, November 2021, we have still not all been together since. Fingers crossed for a summer 2022 reunion of epic proportions!

This girl is all about Minions. On repeat. Like it’s the only movie we own.
So happy to have these two sweet babies together.
The gang’s all here!
Look at those sweet little freckles. Adorable.
Evie and her fairy godmother.

On Ellie’s actual birthday, we celebrated with cupcakes and an outing to an indoor play-place for little ones (reminder: this was pre-Covid and this type of activity was normal and only the normal amount of germ-scary). Unfortunately, the big girls had school so they couldn’t join us, but the dads seemed happy to fill in and have all the good times.

I freaking love her face in this picture. No one has ever enjoyed a slide more than this.
Ellie will find and read books anywhere she goes. They are her absolute favorite thing.
Happy 2nd Birthday to me!
Checking out that sweet new snowsuit Aunt Kerri shared with us for those Vermont winters.
Pinkies out, Uncle Chris. Because she’s a lady.
You can never have too much pool time.
This may be my favorite picture of these two. All the heart eyes.

We spent a wonderful afternoon at a local park enjoying a Chick-fil-A picnic (zero locations in Vermont so it’s quite the treat now), playtime, and an impromptu photo shoot in the golden hour light.

Besties. Melt my heart.
Love all those beautiful, smiling faces. And also that beautiful unhappy Evie face.
Our last night together features reading time in matching pajamas. Obviously.

As always, we are ever grateful to have these amazing friends in our life to celebrate not just the big stuff, but the little stuff too. Love and miss you all, C family!
